Finally, Google officially announced the name for the latest Android version. As expected, the name starts with “N” and it is “Nougat”. Well, the name is delicious, crunchy and a perfect dessert that can stand out of the brand names like Necco or Nutella. Note that, this announcement came after one month of company’s IO developer event – where Google announced it would accept suitable names from the public.
There’s been so much controversy behind this naming, as most social media were hoping for names like Nutella. Well, many are happy with the name, while some do not. Some were got confused with its pronunciation, while some say just OK.
