Can the conflict between personal information, privacy and security ever be resolved? The answer is ‘No’.

But the latest version of Apple’s OS X will be ideal for those who seek for more security. Apple launched OS X 10.11.5 this week for Mac users as a free download. The major focus of this update is to fix the security flaws. And not just some fixes, it has fixed nearly 70 security issues including minor Bluetooth issue to the one that could allow hackers to access a person’s Mac remotely.

Apple’s OS X El Capitan release arrived in fall 2015. As a matter of fact, many of the vulnerabilities in Apple’s operating systems are discovered by third-party security researchers. Apple launches regular updates to fix these bugs and glitches. Apple also relies on security communities to find issues.

Apple outlined many security updates in a posting on its website on Monday. Fixing one issue called “CommonCrypto” which could allow malware to run on Mac and leak sensitive user information. Apple also fixed a bug that could enable a hacker to steal data from Apple’s Messages platform.

On Monday Apple not only launched new updates for OS X but they launched new versions of iOS and safari browser as well, which had also addressed some security issues. But the latter reports came in that Apple’s latest iOS version is “bricking” their devices. Especially for those with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. One iPad Pro owner reported that his phone got into a loop wherein he had to plug into iTunes and once plugged in it won’t restore or update.

Apple referred this problem to be related to the hardware and suggested the users to run the latest version of iTunes. And to contact the Apple’s support team if they couldn’t resolve the issue.

In iTunes, Apple has changed the store layout by making the buttons bolder and burying the profile to the bottom of the windows. And to view things you have purchased there’s a new sidebar which also helps built Playlists.

Apple didn’t launch any new apps on OS X mainly because they want to focus on keeping the PCs as safe as possible. Though there will be some new features and apps expected to be announced at the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June as unlike the past even this year Apple is expected to showcase its wide range of new design and features in the Developers conference.
